What you’ll build

The SAP Internship Experience Program is SAP’s global, strategic, paid internship program that provides university students with opportunities to find purpose in their careers. This is more than an internship, it’s the foundation for a career built on connection, creativity, and impact.

Position title: SAP iXp Intern – Procurement Operations

Location: Buenos Aires, Argentina

Duration: 6 months up to 18 months

Start Date: January 2026

 

In this role,

You'll play a key role in supporting daily operations while also getting involved in meaningful side projects that improve the way we work.

In terms of providing Daily Operational Support, you will:

  • Conduct quality checks for purchase requisitions in Ariba and statements of work in Fieldglass.
  • Respond to internal inquiries via ticketing system and chatline.
  • Support accounts payable activities in Fieldglass.
  • Take and organize meeting minutes.
  • Assist with coordination and support tasks across multiple procurement categories.

 

While in terms of getting involve inside Projects & Strategic Contributions you will have the opportunity to:

  • Support process improvement and automation initiatives.
  • Organize and maintain internal documentation and training manuals.
  • Assist with reporting and internal quality checks.
  • Contribute to onboarding materials and activities for new team members.
  • Own a side project aligned with your strengths and curiosity—your ideas are welcome here!

 

What you’ll bring

We’re looking for someone who takes initiative, perseveres, and stay curious. You like to work on meaningful innovative projects and are energized by lifelong learning.

  • A current student in Business Administration, Economics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken (advanced level).
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and good at managing time and priorities.
  • Able to navigate change with a proactive mindset.
  • A team player who isn’t afraid to ask questions, suggest improvements, and try new things.

The Procurement Operations (ProcOps) team is part of SAP’s Procure Travel Pay (PTP) organization, which supports the entire lifecycle of procurement, accounts payable, travel and expense management, and third-party licensing.

Within ProcOps, we focus on overseeing the quality of purchase requisitions, ensuring compliance and efficiency through Ariba and Fieldglass, and supporting accounts payable processes. We work closely with both internal stakeholders and external systems to ensure a smooth and standardized experience.

Earlier this year, PTP underwent a global transformation to unify key operational areas under one strategy—enabling us to work more flexibly, efficiently, and aligned with SAP’s future goals.
