Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Customer Advisory Leader to join our senior executive team for the Greater China region. In this critical role, you will lead our industry, solution, and line of business subject matter expert teams, driving key customer outcomes and leveraging our Customer Value Journey methodology. The ideal candidate will be a trusted advisor, driving SAP's vision and strategy, and ensuring a customer-centric engagement model for the region.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Thought Leadership and Storytelling:
- Deliver tailored thought leadership, storytelling, and end-to-end messaging to engage C-level executives and excite them about transformative opportunities with SAP.
2. Vision and Sponsorship:
- Create a shared aspirational vision between our customers and SAP, leading to sponsorship of transformation opportunities and answering the question, "Why do anything?"
3. Solution Development:
- Develop future-ready architectures, scope bills of materials, and usage estimates with clear mapping of solution capabilities to value.
- Ensure solutions fit customer requirements and highlight SAP's unique differentiation to answer the question, "Why SAP?"
4. Value Proposition:
- Produce strategic and quantitative business cases with data-driven insights, answering the question, "Why now?" to achieve stakeholder buy-in and funding for SAP programs.
5. Strategic Planning:
- Collaborate with our Services organization and partner ecosystem to develop success plans for customers, including value roadmaps, scorecards, and adoption plans.
Requirements:
- Proven regional or multi-market sales, presales, or consulting leadership experience, ideally across Greater China.
- Demonstrated track record of driving disciplined sales and customer success processes with strong financial outcomes.
- Experience managing business development, presales, and sales functions.
- Accomplished senior leader with a successful track record in driving transformation across strategic and consultative sales processes.
- Visionary and trusted advisor in customer engagement.
- Excellent communications and presentation skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with APAC and global colleagues.
- Outstanding influencing and collaborative skills, with experience working in complex stakeholder environments at regional and global levels.
- Agile, highly energized, yet focused, disciplined, and process-driven.
- Reliable, resolute, resourceful, and results-oriented.
- A history of facilitating and enhancing a culture that attracts, develops, and retains top talent in the tech industry.
