(Senior) Business Processes Consultant (f/m/d) for Data Volume Management

YOUR FUTURE ROLE     
 

In the role of a Business Processes Consultant (f/m/d) DVM, you will work in the development and design team of the Premium Hub CoE (Global CoE) with focus on creating of next Generation of MaxAttention and other Service Offerings, aka Premium Qualities based on CALM and Intelligent Service Delivery Hub (ISD Hub) in the area of Data Volume Management and Clean Core.  

You will deliver and develop services for every aspect of customers' transition to Cloud / BTP, supporting their transformation, or upgrade project, as well as on operations, including continuous improvement, quality management, problem resolution, and knowledge transfer. 
 

It contains:  

  • Supporting Customers with the help of our Premium Service offerings, to solve complex issues and challenges during their transformation journeys and invent new ways of providing scalable solutions to our top customers. 
  • Full software development cycle focusing on design, coding, testing, automation, quality assurance of complex product features.  
  • Science projects involving machine learning and artificial intelligence: data identification, data extraction, data analysis, model training, model evaluation, integration with consuming application, prompt engineering, grounding, augmented generation 
  • Project management assignments ranging from roll-in, requirement management, scoping, sourcing, scheduling to quality management and deployment. 

 
YOUR PROFILE     

 

We are looking for a motivated and analytical professional who is eager to contribute to the development of premium service offerings in the field of Data Volume Management (DVM). The ideal candidate should bring a solid foundation in data analysis and problem-solving, as well as a collaborative mindset to work in an interdisciplinary environment. 

 

  • Educational Background: University degree in a relevant field. 
  • Analytical Thinking & Problem-Solving: Ability to analyze complex data patterns and derive meaningful insights for service improvements. 
  • Solution Orientation: Capability to independently develop and evaluate approaches to recurring customer challenges. 
  • Communication & Collaboration: Excellent articulation and a collaborative mindset, with the ability to engage internal & external stakeholders across different functions. 
  • Structured Working Style: Ability to systematically prepare knowledge from customer projects and make it scalable for a broad customer base. 
  • Technical Affinity: General understanding of SAP data models, databases, and analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Power BI, SAP Analytics Cloud). 
  • Customer Orientation: Understanding customer requirements and leveraging data-driven insights to optimize service delivery. 
  • Excellent communication skills in English and German. 

 Beneficial / A Plus: 

  • Experience in SAP Data Volume Management (DVM), archiving, or Information Lifecycle Management (ILM). 
  • Familiarity with SAP technologies such as Native Storage Extension (NSE) or Data Privacy & Protection (DPP). 
  • Background in automation, machine learning, or AI-driven data extraction and processing. 
  • Previous experience in service development and scalable IT infrastructure solutions.
