(Junior) DevOps Engineer (f/m/d) for the SAP BTP Multi Channel delivery & DC Buildout team

We are looking for an (junior) development operations engineer or a developer with development operations experience who wants to go deeper into the area of development operations and related software and tools development. 


As member of our SAP BTP Multi Channel delivery & DC Buildout team, you will ...

  • understand, implement and continuously improve complex software deployments of SAP BTP platform and SAP BTP services with focus on further automation of their deployments
  • take over the responsibility for regular updates of SAP BTP platform and SAP BTP services in test environments of our sovereign and private cloud stakeholders 
  • educate and support our sovereign and private cloud stakeholders and third party operators in deploying and running SAP BTP services in sovereign and private cloud environments. 


What you bring:

  • Ideally, 3+ years of professional experience in cloud-native development or development operations with cloud technologies like Kubernetes, Cloud Foundry, containers and various hyperscaler APIs.
  • Hands-on experience in different lifecycle management tools and technologies like Terraform, Concourse, ArgoCD, OCM, Flux, Jenkins, etc.
  • Hands-on experience in deployments on major hyperscalers as AWS, Azure, GCP.
  • Sound development skills in a scripting or programming language such as Python, Golang, Java etc.
  • Excellent analytical skills with proven track of design and solution of challenging technical problems.
  • Fluency both written and spoken in English, and German

 

Meet the team:
The SAP BTP Multi Channel delivery & DC Buildout team is part of T&I BTP Foundation Unit and is responsible for driving and executing the SAP Business Technology Platform strategy for deploying cloud products into sovereign and private environments. The team has end-to-end ownership of the complete topic to ensure an excellent customer experience for the SAP BTP Sovereign Cloud product portfolio.
