What you'll do


The Customer Advisory Architecture Advisor (AA) is integral member of the account team and works closely with SAP’s Sales organization and the Partner ecosystem to define the account strategy. AAs are responsible for bridging the gap between the customer’s business strategy and relevant solutions through crafting the to-be business and solution architectures and designing a transformation roadmap. They are trusted advisors for the customer and employ a business development mindset.

 

As an Architecture Advisor (AA), you will focus on the following key areas:

  • Understand the customer’s industry, business priorities and strategic imperatives
  • Position technology thought leadership for Intelligent Enterprise, Clean Core, BTP and AI as key drivers
  • Provide recommendations on cross-portfolio architecture in the cloud
  • Engage with customers to support sales cycles throughout the Customer Value Journey as an integral member of the SAP account team
  • Understand customer’s business process map and business model with industry reference architecture focus
  • Lead definition of enterprise architecture based on SAP products, solutions & services and business-outcome-based roadmap; involve partners where applicable
  • Support customer cloud transformation roadmap definition (business and application focus)
  • Align living roadmap with current adoption/solution consumption
  • Design/update the customer’s enterprise architecture and roadmap to position products/solutions and services to create/mature cross-sell opportunities
  • Be the customer-preferred and trusted advisor on SAP E2E solution capabilities and business benefits in cross-sell opportunities
  • Drive frequent new product/solution/service sales cycles
  • Support building customer demand through appropriate thought leadership positioning

 

What you bring

 

  • Deep knowledge of the Financial Services Industry in Germany including customers and partner ecosystem
  • Considerable experience with software/IT organizations as a Business, IT or Enterprise Architecture Advisor and/or specific expertise with software solutions through Solution Management, Sales, Presales, Adoption/Consumption, Consulting or Business Development, demonstrating successful outcomes over multiple years
  • Trusted Advisor profile combined with sales and business development attitude
  • Represent SAP as the trusted advisor within SAP and/or the market
  • Knowledge of Cloud, Hosted Services, SaaS/ PaaS models and Cloud-based commerce/ business networks
  • Proven experience of driving tangible outcomes in Enterprise Architecture for customers
  • Fluency in German and English
  • TOGAF or SAPIEA-10 certifications and Experience in using EAM tools is an added value for candidates
  • Education: Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) required, MBA or equivalent degree preferred
