We are looking for a Development Architect who wants to go deeper into the area harmonization of cloud operations processes and concepts of BTP to fulfill the requirements of our stakeholders in sovereign and private cloud environments.

As member of our SAP BTP Multi Channel delivery & DC Buildout team, you will ...

• Identify processes within BTP (like backup, operations, etc.) that are implemented rather heterogeneously by different BTP service teams.
• Initiate and drive their harmonization in close collaboration with stakeholders like BTP development, first response team, certification office, etc. 
• Discuss and create white papers defining a “golden path” for new services and migration of existing services towards homogeneous operations of BTP in future.

What you bring:

• 7+ years of professional experience in architecture or cloud-native development with cloud technologies like Kubernetes, Cloud Foundry, containers and various hyperscaler APIs.
• Hands-on expertise on architecture of BTP services and their operations on major hyperscalers as AWS, Azure, GCP and related tools.
• Exposure to at least one major BTP software component (e.g., Foundation, Gardener, HANA Cloud, SAC, etc.) is an added advantage.
• Excellent analytical skills with proven track of design and solution of challenging technical problems.
• Willingness to learn innovative technologies and adapt to team requirements.
• Fluency both written and spoken in English and German.

Meet the team:
The SAP BTP MultiChannel delivery & DC Buildout team is part of T&I BTP Foundation Unit and is responsible for driving and executing the SAP Business Technology Platform strategy for deploying cloud products into sovereign and private environments. The team has end-to-end ownership of the complete topic to ensure an excellent customer experience for the SAP BTP Sovereign Cloud product portfolio.
