What You’ll Build 

 

The SAP Internship Experience Program is SAP’s global, strategic, paid internship program that provides university students with opportunities to find purpose in their careers. This is more than an internship; it’s the foundation for a career built on connection, creativity, and impact. 

 

Position title: SAP iXp Intern (f/m/d) - Event Content Management in Strategic Programs & Events Team 

 

Location: Walldorf/St. Leon Rot, Germany 

 

As part of the Strategic Programs & Events team in Walldorf, you will work with the team to organize and execute various events. In this context, your tasks will include:

 

  • Support event content management process from planning, execution, task follow-ups to onsite operational activities 
  • Support event content management systems and tools to ensure delivering consistent and up-to-date event data including session data, slot & scheduling, speaker profiles, and session materials collection 
  • Support content and speaker related communication assets (e.g. meeting invitations, slide decks, SharePoint sites, Call-for-content webpages) 
  • Prepare and host regular meetings with content stakeholders and content owners, manage meeting minutes and follow up on action items 
  • Analyze event data by comparing to history data and visualize key insights for reporting purpose 
  • Research and continuous improvement on digital content management systems, processes, and automation by leveraging various digital platforms and tools including programming and script writing

 

We live flex work but also value our team spirit a lot and some events need onsite support. That’s why it will be beneficial if you are able to work from the Walldorf office regularly.

 

What You’ll Bring 

 

We’re looking for someone who takes the initiative, perseveres, and stays curious. You like to work on meaningful innovative projects and are energized by lifelong learning. 

 

  • Student (f/m/d) at a university or a university of applied sciences, preferred field(s) of study: Computer Science, Software Engineering, Statistics, Information Technology, or related field 
  • Good working skills on modern digital working tools such as MS Office, SharePoint, GitHub, PowerShell, Reporting tools, and other AI-powered tools which improve working efficiency 
  • Good knowledge on modern cloud-based software development and application deployment domain (GenAI-models and LLM knowledge would be a nice plus) 
  • Good communication skills (e.g. writing/editing texts, hosting meetings with large audience group) 
  • Creative mindset and drive to bring in and execute new ideas 
  • First experiences in event or project management 
  • Eager to learn new things on the job 
  • Flexible and able to adapt to changing environments 
  • Very good MS Office skills 
  • Fluent English language skills - both written and verbal 
  • Ability to support 40 hours per week onsite in Walldorf/St.Leon Rot

We design and conceptualize strategic content and messaging for the Board Area SAP Product & Engineering and position it appropriately for internal and external audiences through events in different formats.
