Based in Walldorf, Germany, you’ll join SAP in a hybrid setup (3 days onsite) to shape the future of AI‑enabled Commodity Management. In this senior role, you’ll turn complex industry challenges into scalable, customer‑validated product outcomes that advance SAP’s AI‑first strategy.

What you bring

• Deep domain knowledge in commodity trading or risk management environments.
• Hands‑on experience with SAP Commodity Management across presales, services, or support.
• Background as a Product Manager or Product Owner, applying frameworks such as SAP HPOM or a Marty Cagan–style product mindset.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities to quickly identify, frame, and classify complex issues.
• Proven ability to partner with scrum teams to craft solutions that are viable, feasible, and usable.
• A customer‑first approach, including proactive customer engagement and a solid understanding of key user personas.

• AI‑enabled product prototypes that validate bold, high‑value industry use cases within Commodity Management — why it matters: this accelerates learning cycles and sharpens our AI product direction.
• Production‑ready AI solutions that customers use and adopt within 12+ months — why it matters: measurable customer adoption is the clearest signal of value and long‑term impact.
• Problem‑resolution pathways with scrum teams that consistently deliver feasible and user‑centered outcomes — why it matters: it ensures product decisions translate into usable, high‑quality features.
• Customer‑informed enhancements grounded in real persona insights and regular feedback loops — why it matters: it aligns our roadmap to the needs of industries like agriculture, energy, metals, and automotive.
