What you´ll do
 
In this role, you will support the Change Management, Event Management and Communication activities of Corporate Business Process Management. 

We are looking for a dynamic and motivated Event Management Intern to join our team and assist in the preparation and execution of one of our key events – the Business Process Management Summit, hosting approximately 200 attendees. This role is an excellent opportunity for anyone interested in gaining hands-on experience in event planning, change management, and communication strategies.

Here are some of the key fields and expected activities in this vital role: 

  • Change Management Support :
    • Help identify potential change management needs within the team or stakeholders due to the event.
    • Aid in the development and implementation of strategies to manage both internal and external changes effectively.
    • Monitor and assess the impact of changes and communicate findings to the team.

 

  • •  Event Planning and Coordination:
    • Assist in the overall planning and project management of the BPM Summit event.
    • Help make logistical & operational arrangements for the event with regards to the event venue (e.g. catering, transportation, and accommodations)
    • Support the development and execution of the event flow to ensure all aspects run smoothly.
    • Assist the content preparation to be presented during the event
    • Collaborate with third-party service providers to secure quality services and materials for the event.

 

  • •  Communication Management:
    • Assist in drafting communication materials, including invitations, newsletters, and event updates.
    • Coordinate with the communications team to ensure consistent messaging and branding across all platforms.
    • Facilitate communication between different departments and stakeholders to ensure alignment and clarity.


What you bring

  • Currently finishing a degree in Event Management, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and event management software/tools.
  • A proactive attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Passion for learning and developing skills in event planning and management.
  • Ability to engage across functions with different stakeholders (product owners, process owners, enterprise architecture team, and similar)
  • Ability to collaborate, build strong internal relationships
  • Good organizational, time management, and communication skills  
  • Passion for customers and their success 
  • Proficient communication and presentation skills in English

The Corporate Process Management Office defines SAP-wide process management standards on how to design, document, measure, and improve processes in close alignment with Global E2E Process Owners, Process Officers, Process Owners, and Business Owners. The team ensures the company-wide application of these standards leveraging a community of experts, structured documentation, and continuous enablement.

  • Provide Think Tanks and concepts to stimulate Business Development, Innovation, and Strategic Thinking
  • Define CPIT strategy, key priorities and strategic pillars, based on global IT trends
  • Drive high-visibility strategic projects cross the board areas
  • Support Agile Transformation and People Agenda
