What you'll build 

 

  • Support with key AI Ethics deliverables to build safe and ethical AI products that our customers trust 
  • Manage SAP’s AI Ethics tech community to connect and engage Responsible AI experts and enthusiasts across the company (content creation, community engagement, speaker series, networking) 
  • Drive user research on specific information needs of different development lifecycle personas to understand AI Ethics requirements 
  • Work with the AI Ethics Governance team to create and roll-out enablement assets to help development teams implement AI Ethics requirements faster and mitigate AI-related risks


What you bring 

 

  • Student (f/m/d) at a university or a university of applied sciences 
  • Preferred fields of study: Computer Science, Data Science, Business Informatics, or related fields of study
  • Technical skills: Solid technical understanding of AI/ML models, especially Gen AI models. Work experience with MS Office 
  • Additional experience: Interest in and fundamental knowledge about AI Ethics and Trustworthy AI concepts is expected. Experience applying AI Ethics-related measures and metrics in AI design and development is a plus 
  • Language skills: Fluent in English, German as a plus 
  • Soft skills: Great communication skills, team player, hands-on, reliable, and open-minded mentality
  • Working from Walldorf or Berlin/Potsdam is required


Where you belong 

 

The AI Ethics & Responsible AI team is situated in the Product Engineering area of SAP’s Business AI Unit. Together with experts from across the organization, we are committed to operationalizing the requirements for responsible AI in SAP’s product development. 

 

Your set of application documents should contain a cover letter, a resume in table form, school leaving certificates, certificate of enrollment, current university transcript of records, copies of any academic degrees already earned, and if available, references from former employers (including internships). Please also describe your experience and skills in foreign languages and computer programs / programming languages.
